The Consolidated Associate Traders of Zenobia (CATZ) have opened offices on Shadow. Traders based on Shadow can now enjoy the benefits of networking with other traders working the shipping lanes between the two worlds.
The Zenobian parliament, dominated by powerful "old money" families, has long supported an increase in trade with the border colonies.
While many view this hopeful sign that this outreach is the first step towards formal diplomatic recognition of Shadow by Zenobia, the move has angered some military hardliners who have called for a trade embargo with the break-away colony.
